Research Projects
In it Together
We use an interdisciplinary approach within our research projects to identify opportunities to help older people remain connected to their communities.
We use different types of research methods to engage people and answer questions. These methods include qualitative approaches such as interviews and focus groups, which allow us to gather insights and understand participants’ perspectives. We also use quantitative techniques like surveys and interventions to collect information and identify patterns or trends.
We want to clarify key issues and encourage active engagement from everyone.
Principles that guide our research projects…
By bringing together people from across age groups and interests in our research projects, we can gain valuable perspectives and insights into the challenges faced by older adults to stay connected to their communities.
This collaborative effort allows us to explore innovative solutions which respond to the diverse needs and preferences of older people and their families and friends.
We use an inclusive approach with the aim to create a supportive environment where older people can contribute to developing practical community based programs to actively participate in communities.
